MSL is providing Pre-Entitlement Assessment Service for a property owner on 8th Street, an existing privately-owned site in West Oakland neighborhood in the City of Oakland. MSL is evaluating the potential acquisition and feasibility for potential redevelopment of the parcel, and is representing the a private property owner to negotiate acquisition feasibility with the City of Oakland and the County of Alameda. The site is zoned as Mixed-Housing Residential, and is envisioned to be redeveloped as a community space for an active co-living community. It has an absent property owner and the City had expressed preliminary interests in converting the use specifically for Affordable Housing. MSL is actively evaluating and negotiating with key public stakeholders from the City and County, to evaluate development feasibility and acquisition potential of the project site.
